Finally, we’re home ❤. Spending the first night at home is just the beginning of more sleepless nights. So, I try to be as ready as possible. Here are my bedside must-haves so a breastfeeding mama can survive throughout the night 😴 .
1. Haakaa – it’s so helpful, especially for let downs. You can partially avoid messy and smelly milk all over the bed!
2. Milk bags – I decided to store my let downs. I usually catch 2ML per side. It’s a great way to start my stash in case of any emergency. I’m so thankful that I’m so blessed with plenty of milk right after birth.
3. Diapers – these guys should always be at your reach. Newborns poop A LOT.
4. JOHNSON’S baby Wipes- you can just pull one if you need cleaning. It’s not drying and safe for my baby’s butt.
5. Alcohol – keeps your hands clean all the time.
7. Facial masks – a new mama needs to start #selflove immediately. You deserve it even more! I need to freshen up my face before that sleep deprivation comes in. At least my skin is evident when I wake up in the morning.
6. Young Living Ningxia Red- it supports my energy levels, eye health, whole-body wellness, helps me fight against oxidative stress, and supports a healthy cellular function that I needed. Postpartum care is essential so we continue taking care of our babies.
7. Johnson’s Baby Cotton Touch Lotion – it’s definitely a must-have. I use it myself and Damsoy’s, especially after a bath. It’s so moisturizing, and #Gentle for my newborn. The classic smell also encourages me to hug him all night and during feeding time. His skin feels so soft, clear from any rashes, and I’m sure it’s safe because of Johnson’s new formulation 💙 — removing over 50% of harsh ingredients for my baby’s sensitive skin. Always #choosegentle for your new babies.
Thanks to these excellent products, I am facing motherhood, head on!
